A New Growth Plan for National Packaging Company

 

National Packaging Co., Inc., of Decatur, Alabama was founded 20 years ago as an offshoot of Ropak, a family-owned equipment manufacturer of equipment to produce and fill sachets, primarily for the packaging of low-volume products such as lo-calorie sweeteners. This period was a time of high growth for the lo-cal market, and Ropak periodically encountered new startup companies that were not looking for equipment, but for someone with expertise to help them enter that marketplace and package product for it. National Packaging Co., Inc. was launched to meet that need.

Hispanic food and beverage markets are primed for aggressive growth

 

You don't have to go to a Mexican restaurant or scour the ethnic foods aisle in a supermarket if you're in the mood for Mexican food. Hispanic foods and beverages have become such a common part of the American menu that many consumers would have to think twice before characterizing them as a distinct ethnic cuisine. Research firm Packaged Facts predicts continued aggressive growth in the category through 2014, with sales projected to top $9.5 billion in 2014.
