Blue Marble Game Company launched its first crowdfunding campaign to develop an interactive falls prevention video game called Zoezi Park, an initiative facilitated by the Alfred E. Mann Institute at the University of Southern California. Using cameras and sensors to track movement, the video game creates a computer-generated avatar that mimics the player on screen. The game then guides the player through activities to improve balance and physical strength while recording data of their progress. Woodland Hill's Based ImmunoCellular Therapeutics Enters Into a Manufacturing Agreement With NeoStem's Subsidiary, PCT

 

NeoStem's subsidiary, Progenitor Cell Therapy (PCT) and ImmunoCellular Therapeutics, Ltd. (IMUC), a clinical-stage biotechnology company that is developing immune-based therapies for the treatment of brain and other cancers, announced the execution of a services agreement under which PCT will provide cGMP manufacturing services to support research and development of IMUC's ICT-121 cell therapy product candidate, a dendritic cell vaccine targeting CD133 cells. PCT currently provides manufacturing services for IMUC's lead product candidate, ICT-107, a dendritic cell-based vaccine targeting multiple tumor-associated antigens for glioblastoma, for its Phase II clinical trial ... MannKind Completes Phase 3 Clinical Study of AFREZZA in Patients with Type 1 Diabetes


Last Week, the Valencia, Calif.-based MannKind announced that all follow-up visits have been completed for the patients enrolled in Study 171, a Phase 3 clinical study of AFREZZA (insulin human [rDNA origin]) inhalation powder, an investigational, ultra rapid-acting mealtime insulin therapy, administered using MannKinds next-generation inhaler.
