Organized in Collaboration the LA/Orange County Biotechnology Center and the California Community Colleges, Southern California Biotechnology Center Hub, this event is a sequel to the SoCalBio Workforce Summit held last July 19, 2012. It will include bioscience industry executives as well as educators and administrators of Southern California community colleges who are invited for a briefing on the state of the biotech, pharma, diagnostics, informatics and the device industries in Southern California. In addition, this event will highlight the important role of the community college system as a driver in the preparation of a highly skilled workforce and will discuss opportunities for partnerships supporting the bioscience industry in Southern California....
