Goose Bumps! The Science of Fear
On Display through September 2, 2013

	Why do our hearts race, our knees shake, and our bodies sweat when we are scared? Goose Bumps! The Science of Fear explores this universal emotion that can save our lives.
Through fun, interactive challenges, guests can experience fear in a safe environment and discover the science behind their physical and emotional responses. Thrill seekers and scaredy-cats alike will have fun learning about fear.
This exhibit includes immersive environments and full-body, interactive experiences that allow guests to test their own fears and rate their physiological responses. Leading scientists and their current research on the neurobiology, physiology, and psychology of fear are also featured throughout the exhibit.

 

 

 

 

Baylor Line Camp visits Mayborn
It Takes a Village

Last month the Mayborn Museum Complex received some horticultural assistance from future Baylor Bears who were attending Line Camp. While helping to maintain the beautiful landscaping, they also got a chance to experience the Governor Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village.

Baylor Line Camp is an extended orientation program that helps better equip new students in their transition to Baylor while emphasizing their personal strengths.

Our Free Sunday Program continues on August 4, 2013 thanks to the support of Kohl's.

Baylor University's Mayborn Museum would like to thank Greg May Honda/Chevrolet for sponsoring July's Free Sunday. Join us as we welcome everyone to the museum with no admission charge.

Admission August 7 and 14 for all visitors 18 months and older is $5 and includes Goose Bumps! The Science of Fear, all events and activities. Museum members and Baylor University students receive free admission.
