Greetings in the Name of Jesus and welcome to the PLN Sunday Night Bible Fellowship!
Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for joining us tonight as we come to the end of our series on the subject of going to Prosperity School. We hope this series has been a blessing and that you have a new perspective, a favorable perspective now of one of God's special blessings which happens to be called PROSPERITY (Deuteronomy 28:11). The English word PROSPERITY, in all its various forms is mentioned in our Bibles almost one hundred times in a positive context and was/is considered the best translation of the original languages that all those scriptures were written in.
A principal reason for writing this series has been that presently a large part of the Body of Christ has a negative reaction to this word to the point that its use is routinely discouraged except in its negative context. The fact is many of us have focused on the negative for so long that we're losing sight of the fact that PROSPERITY is a major scriptural blessing that Almighty God has made available for Believers under the New Covenant. We're supposed to be able to receive it by GRACE through FAITH. Could it be that one of the main reasons so many Christians aren't manifesting God's PROSPERITY in their lives is because their default view of it has become so negative? How're we ever going to be able to connect to a blessing from God if we can only SEE it as something negative?
And so for over a year now we've been looking at this subject from a number of different angles always in a positive light with the objective of renewing our minds to agree with what the Bible says: PROSPERITY IS A BLESSING! We actually want to/expect to receive God's PROSPERITY because the Bible says He wants us to have it and we're not ashamed to say that we want it. The fact is He's ALREADY released it for us and we want to be willing to do whatever the Word says we should do in order to CONNECT to it by FAITH and then USE it for His plans and purposes. In the meantime we leave in God's hands all those TV preachers who misuse this word. They're not our responsibility and they've been distracting us from the positive message that PROSPERITY IS A BLESSING that Jesus died for us to have a chance at receiving.
Key Highlights
With more than fifty articles behind us in this series, the Lord has shown us a lot of new things to consider about His PROSPERITY. One of the reasons we found so many things that were NEW is that we've been too passive about this subject and many of us, maybe most haven't really been focusing on understanding this special blessing. Following is a list of some of our key findings that we hope you'll retain for future reference whenever you hear or think about God's PROSPERITY.
· God's Prosperity is defined as a surplus in every area of life: spirit, soul and body.
· New Testament Prosperity ALWAYS includes our finances.
· God's Prosperity has ALREADY been released within His Grace.
· God's Prosperity is NOT the same as the world's materialism.
· The Word of God produces God's Prosperity.
· God's Prosperity is something to be pursued and we should NOT feel guilty about it.
· God's financial Prosperity is to be used to establish the Kingdom of God and to bless other
people.
· The successful pursuit of God's Prosperity requires strong Faith.
· The successful pursuit of God's Prosperity requires a close relationship with the Father.
· God does not limit or manipulate our finances but many of the traditions of men take us back to
the curse.
Friend, God's PROSPERITY has nothing to do with a few TV preachers who may be using this special bible word in connection with their attempts to manipulate people's giving. Forget about the TV preachers and focus on figuring how to connect to and RECEIVE this special blessing that God wants for you to have. In short, focus on the BLESSING and stop focusing on the TV Preachers and all the other Christian teachers and pundits that want us to focus on the ill-named concept they call the Prosperity Gospel. The enemy is using that to disrupt our focus and to create a negative context for one of God's principal blessings which causes us to stop pursuing it.
The Essential Requirement
Now the way to pursue God's PROSPERITY is to find out what God wants us to do in His Kingdom and then get into that flow. His GRACE is available to help us accomplish His plans and purposes for our lives. In order to find out what He wants us to do we have to develop a close personal relationship and learn to HEAR and SEE what He's doing. Jesus only did what He SAW the Father doing and we have to learn to take the same approach. Jesus did that by FAITH and we also have to do it by FAITH. By FAITH we PERCEIVE what the Father is doing and then we do it. He's doing what He wants us to do but we have to PERCEIVE it with our spiritual senses. We won't SEE Him do anything with our five physical senses and we have to learn how to use our spiritual senses. We have to learn to walk in the spirit so we can speak spirit to Spirit, so we can PERCEIVE spirit from Spirit as we develop strong FAITH.
And then once we've heard from the Holy Spirit and we're ready to pursue our PROSPERITY by FAITH, we have to IMPLEMENT what He wants us to do. I believe that a high percentage of our failure to be PROSPEROUS in the Body of Christ is related to our lack of effective implementation: to poor implementation, incomplete implementation or implementation in the Flesh. Ideas have to be implemented in the spirit. If they just stay as ideas, nothing happens. FAITH requires action. FAITH requires that we DO something. We don't want to be just hearers of the Word, we want to be DOERS (James 1:22). Without implementation nothing happens, nothing advances, nothing increases. We want to be sure that what we do is from God and that it's His timing so we wait until we're sure. But at some point once we've heard from the Lord we'll have to implement something, we'll have to take a chance and step out in FAITH believing that what we're doing is part of God's plan for our lives.
The Lord will help us implement our ideas if we seek His direction and priorities. Seek and you will find, ask and you will receive, knock and it will be opened to you (Matthew 7:8). That's His promise and in the promise of God is His PROSPERITY.

If you were sincere as you prayed this prayer, God has already come into your life and you are a new creation, a totally new species recreated in His image. Now ask the Lord to lead you to a good faith-based, bible-teaching church where you can be equipped to fulfill your potential in the Kingdom of God.
