Step Six - Submitting to the Involvement of the Holy Spirit

Greetings in the name of Jesus!

Thanks for looking into Prosperous Life Newsletter today. We've prayed that this article will edify you with the TRUTH of God's Word and cause your FAITH to grow stronger (Romans 10:17).

In this final Lesson we're going to submit your entire getting out of debt program to the authority of God and His Word which will therefore REQUIRE the direct involvement of the Holy Spirit. Let's be clear about it: without the full involvement of the Holy Spirit in your Program you'll not be able to achieve lasting success (John 15:5). Friend, apart from Christ we can do nothing not because we say so but because that's what the Bible says. If the Word of God is the ultimate authority in your life then you believe what it says and you want to have your life line up with it in every way possible. The good news is that if you allow God to be involved in your Program, you will NOT have to approach the task of achieving DEBT FREEDOM in your own strength and make it into some huge, laborious, carnal, Flesh-driven self sacrifice. God doesn't want it that way and neither should you.

Following are the major biblical principles that should govern the pursuit of your Program to achieve Debt Freedom:

Faith - You will have to believe and not lose sight of the fact that God wants you to be DEBT FREE even more than you do. Why? So you can use your WEALTH to help Him establish the Kingdom of God on the earth and also so you'll be able to use the overflow to bless other people. Faith is the substance (assurance) of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1) and you should be EXPECTING God's assistance with this Program. It's impossible to please God without Faith (Hebrews 11:6) so release your Faith at the outset that the God Creator of this Universe WILL be involved to the max if you allow Him to.

Maintain Correct Priorities - As you go through your Program keep in mind that you are pursuing DEBT FREEDOM so you can be a blessing to the Kingdom of God. Put the Kingdom of God as your first priority (Matthew 6:33) and you WILL be successful. Be committed and determined to achieve DEBT FREEDOM so you can do more to advance the Kingdom rather than increasing your personal wealth and God will see to it that you DO prosper by His GRACE (empowerment) because you had your priorities right and allowed Him to be your Provider.

Don't Stop Giving - Money may be short a lot of the time as you pursue the objective. But don't turn off your tithes and offerings. Maintain your generosity because when you give your treasure into the Kingdom of God, you bring your finances under its jurisdiction and you provide Him with a legal basis for multiplying what you have given back to you to bless you financially. Let the windows of heaven stay open on your behalf (Malachi 3:10) so you can get out of debt quicker while maintaining your Peace and staying in total Rest.

All Things Are Possible with God - While you're going through a multi-year Program, it's likely that from time-to-time you'll be tempted to quit before you reach the FREEDOM you set out for. So keep your focus on the promises of the Word of God whenever you feel like giving up:

Mark 9:23 = All things are possible to him who believes.

Matthew 19:26 = With God all things are possible.

Genesis 18:14 = Is there anything too difficult for the Lord?

Luke 1:37 = Nothing will be impossible with God

Philippians 4:13 = I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:19 = My God will supply all my needs.

John 14:14 = If I ask Jesus to do anything in His name, He will do it.

The bottom line is becoming DEBT FREE is not about you; it's about glorifying God and His Kingdom. Give Him the glory and watch for miracle provision to follow on your behalf. You won't even have to sweat for it!

Walk in Love - Jesus commanded us to love God with all our hearts and to love other people (Matthew 22:37). The kind of love that's mentioned here is the kind that doesn't require love in return. It's unconditional and it's a decision, not a feeling or an emotion. It's the God kind of love and it never harbors unforgiveness. You must make a decision to forgive everyone who has ever wronged you if you want this Program to succeed. It's just that simple. You don't have to like them but you CAN forgive them and pray for God's favor in their lives. Spouses treat each other with respect and love instead of allowing financial pressure to harm your relationship. This is THE key aspect of the whole program.

The Key Considerations

The key point in this lesson is that your pursuit of Debt Freedom should NOT be about you. No, it should be about the Kingdom of God and finding a way to glorify Him. On that basis the Holy Spirit is ready to lead you into all Truth and the financial victory He has in mind for you (Romans 8:14). And He'll disclose to you all the things you'll need to do in your future (John 16:13-15) to achieve His objectives for your life including DEBT FREEDOM.
