Greetings in the name of Jesus!

Thanks for looking into Prosperous Life Newsletter today. We've prayed that this article will edify you with the TRUTH of God's Word and cause your FAITH to grow stronger (Romans 10:17).

Starting with this issue we'll be presenting a special 6-part MiniCourse on the subject of getting totally out of debt God's way in less than 5 to 7 years including your mortgage. Every Believer should be making debt freedom of the highest priority so that we can all be separated from the World financial system when Jesus returns. This version of the mini course has been especially adapted from another publication to conform to the format of this newsletter and it can be a big help if you're serious about getting out of debt. All six major steps to permanent debt freedom can be made available by email upon request.

Most folks in America at one time or another have experienced fear and depression, or sleepless nights and anxiety or strife and stress caused by indebtedness. Perhaps for a long time you've longed with all your heart to be set free from it and even tried to a couple of times but without success. Chances are when you made those attempts you didn't really know how to do it right, most consumers don't, or you weren't fully committed. And, you probably didn't get involved in an organized program like this one that GUARANTEES to produce debt FREEDOM if you'll just follow the steps.

Now this Program is based on the Word of God. In fact, the Bible is full of scriptures that warn us to stay away from indebtedness but for the most part we don't pay too much attention to them. Having credit cards is the prevailing way of life; going into debt seems natural because everyone else is doing it. Something inside says stay away from it but we go after it anyway and hope we'll have enough money to make the monthly payments. It turns out that indebtedness is like a drug: we start out small but we soon become dependent on it and our need for it starts to grow dragging us deeper and deeper into its bondage until we become addicted.

Since this is a MiniCourse, we don't have the space to bring up all the different biblical warnings. We DO offer for sale a full webinar series on this subject that goes into more depth and deals with many of the biblical references. But for the purpose of this mini-publication, let's just talk about Deuteronomy 28:44 where God said through Moses that He considered indebtedness to be part of the Curse that people would be subjected to for the offense of disobedience. If God considers indebtedness to be a curse, why would you want it? Why would you want to put your financial welfare under the influence of a curse? If indebtedness is part of the Curse, then we should always strive to avoid it because it's incapable of producing a good result. It'll rob us of our joy and our peace and our wealth exactly as the Curse was designed to do. Paying interest to lenders is part of the Curse; receiving interest from debtors is part of the Blessing (Deuteronomy 28:12).

Here are just some of the other scriptures that you SHOULD check out in your study of this subject so you can come to the understanding that the Bible clearly warns AGAINST indebtedness. Most people will need to put their eyes on these particular scriptures in order to be successful with this program: 

Romans 13:8

Proverbs 22:7

Matthew 6:24

1 John 2:15-17

2 Kings 4:7

Matthew 6:12  

Letting the Word be Your Guide

So many people in the Body of Christ pay lip service to the authority of the Bible. Most Christians say they live according to biblical principles but the reality is most Christians don't even know what they are and even if they do, they only live by the ones that find acceptable. Let someone suggest that scripture is trying to warn us away from indebtedness and immediately all kinds of teachings emerge trying to connect scriptures together to prove that the Bible is really okay with indebtedness in certain situations. Certainly in the World system we have to live in, indebtedness is occasionally unavoidable in certain emergency situations but you'll be wasting your time trying to find scriptures to back up what you had to do. They don't exist so just work hard to get yourself out of the debt that the system forced you into and let the Word speak for itself. You absolutely can get to a point in life where debt is totally UNECESSARY!

The truth is it's not easy to live according to the Word. The flesh doesn't want to and sometimes what the World is doing seems more "logical" than what the Word says to do. But the person of faith will accept what the Word says, submit to its authority and go ahead and do it trusting that it will work out for the BEST. God's BEST for us is always in His Word; coming to the point of realizing that is what is difficult. But if you'll do it, the Word of God will eventually bring you into your wealthy place that WILL be debt free.  

A Decision for Christ

If you don't know Jesus we have great news for you today too: God wants to come along side of you and help you achieve debt freedom. Certainly you could try to do it on your own but His way will be easier and more perfect. If you would like His help, the Bible says you must first acknowledge His Son Jesus Christ who He sent to die for your sins and for the sins of all mankind. If you've already made Jesus the Lord of your life, you can skip this part and go down to the Summary.

But if you've never accepted Jesus and you're ready to do so today, just say the following prayer and mean it with all your heart. Most people like to speak it out loud:

Jesus, I believe in you and I receive you today as my Lord and Savior. I believe that you died for me and that you rose from the dead. Thank you for forgiving my sins. Come into my life today and show me a new way. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer today and meant it with all your heart, the Bible says you've been born again and have received eternal life. It says that you've been translated out of darkness (Colossians 1:13) and that you're a new creation, a new creature in the Kingdom of God (2 Corinthians 5:17) . As of this moment you're a new Believer and you're also eligible for God to take over your debt elimination efforts. All you have to do is ask Him to take over.

Key Points to Remember

The key point in Step One is that in order to achieve true debt freedom we must accept that God's Word is true and that we need to submit to its authority if we want God's best in our lives. We can't compromise the basic principles that the Holy Spirit is working to teach us through the Word. We don't have to tackle debt elimination on our own trying to hold down three jobs and fast 4 days a week. No, turn it over to God and He'll direct your ways. All you have to do is ask Him and He'll help you to come into agreement with His Word. You must submit to this first point if you want this program to succeed for you and then there'll be no limits on what you can accomplish.
