Spa Day is a Modern Organic Day Spa on Washington Street

Nathaniel Van Camp owned several fast food restaurants, was overweight and needed a change. That's when he decided to create Spa Day (330 Washington St.), a full-service day spa specializing in organic products.

"Being organic really sets us apart. We feature non-toxic nail treatments," said Van Camp, who has since lost a lot of weight after selling off the restaurants. "We have water-based nail polish that is safe enough for a 3-year-old. We have options so if someone wants to get their nails down while pregnant they don't have to worry about chemicals, carcinogens and paint going into their body."
The spa also incorporates science and technology into their services in numerous ways. Nail service, facials, waxing and massages are all offered with different options or packages and can be customized.
