Discarded Cigarette Butts to Decide Important Questions Like: 'Would You Prefer to Know Everything... or Win at Everything?'

How do you stop people from tossing cigarette butts on the streets? Neat Streets, an interactive public space installation, in front of HubPub (18 Province St.) and CVS (333 Washington St.), has the answer: Ask people to discard their cigarette butts in compartmentalized boxes that pose a question like -- what's harder to hit, a curveball or knuckleball?

Neat Streets is a City of Boston pilot program being operated at several locations across the city.
"This smart and innovative effort incorporates a public polling process to engage our residents and visitors in protecting our environment," said Mayor Martin Walsh.
So if you're a smoker, remember to choose would you rather win at everything or know everything. Also, residents and visitors are encouraged to submit questions to use on more Neat Streets boxes by tweeting @CityofBoston using hashtags #NeatStreets or #NeatStreetsBos, through March.
