Art in Giving Gallery Open at 100 Summer St. Donates Proceeds to Charity

The not-for-profit Art in Giving gallery opened earlier this year (100 Summer St., enter on Devonshire St.) and its proceeds go to fund pediatric cancer research. Half of all art sales go to the artist and the other half goes to charity.

Art in Giving was founded by Eliane, above right, and Gary Markoff, with a mosaic by their daughter Audrey. A video about Art In Giving
The gallery space has been provided by Equity Office. "
I am grateful to Equity Office and Pat Walsh for giving Art in Giving a physical gallery in the lobby of 100 Summer Street and Devonshire Street," said Eliane. "The gallery is giving us a great landscape to attract many of the businesses in the Financial District."

"We are glad to have had the opportunity to help Art in Giving increase their exposure while enlivening a vacant retail space," said Pat Walsh, property manager at 100 Summer St., who also purchased a piece of art. "The moment I saw this piece I knew I wanted it for my house, it's fun and whimsical. I love supporting local artists and local charities and found I can do both through Art in Giving."

The Art in Giving gallery will be open Monday through Friday 11 am to 3 pm starting Dec. 7th, and is currently open by appointment by calling 617-877-4230.
