Recap: Summertime BID Members Meeting 

Dear BID Members,

The BID Summertime Members Meeting on August 12th was a shining success. 
Guests socialized while enjoying appetizers from Roche Bros. and drinks from Gordon's Fine Wine & Liquors and Ogawa Coffee. Many guests were awed by One Federal Street's 9th floor oasis that includes an open-air garden and reflection pool - all situated in the heart of the Financial District.
 
BID President Rosemarie Sansone, pictured above right, with Rishi Shukla, co-founder of the Midtown Cultural District Residents' Association, introduced numerous business owners to meeting attendees. 

Jackie Firestone, of Panorama/Playbill, gave an update on some of the great shows coming to the Theater District; Jay Calderin, of Boston Fashion Week, spoke about the week of curated Boston Fashion Week events hosted by the BID, called Platform Downtown, from September 27th through October 3rd; and Larry Baxter of Roche Bros. spoke about the amazing success of the first supermarket in Downtown Boston, which opened in April. 
Sansone also welcomed some of the new businesses and business leaders, including Terry Dunbar, GM of the Hyatt Regency Boston and Laura Britton, Store Manager of Macy's, above left; as well as Marlo Fogelman of Marlo Marketing, above right center, with Katie Grady of Nine Zero Hotel, left, and Ann Peterson, right.
