The Tasting Room at Sip Opening with Easter Brunch with Bread & Salt Hospitality

The Tasting Room at Sip (581 Washington St.) isn't just an expansion of the adjoining Sip Wine Bar and Kitchen - it's a culinary space that will host pop-up events, cooking classes, customized team-building events, and private functions.

"It's a space without an agenda. With the increasing residential traffic growing by the day we thought that creating a place where people could extend their ideas into a culinary space would fulfill a need," said Chris Damian, chef/owner of Legendary Restaurant Group, which operates Papagayo restaurants, Sip and more. "If a company wants to take out their entire office and spend the day rolling sushi, we'll set it up. If someone wants to try out a restaurant concept in the space, we'll give it a shot."

On Easter Sunday, April 5th, from 10 am to 3 pm, Bread & Salt Hospitality is offering 3 courses for $39 per person, 5 courses for $69 per person, or 9 courses for $119. Artists Crossing Gallery Grand Re-Opening Party on April 2nd

The Artists Crossing Gallery moved to 24 Bromfield St. and will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening Party on Thursday, April 2nd, from 5-8 pm

This pop-up gallery has been in several locations in the downtown area since 2008. "This program allows artists to use empty stores for the holidays," said owner
Jen Matson, pictured above. "It was supposed to be only for December of 2008; but we were successful and people liked having a store like this downtown. With the help of the city, the BID, the Druker Company, Northland Investment Corp., and CBRE, we've kept it going!"

Matson said it's important to her to have a space in downtown for artists to show and sell their artwork. She said customers really enjoy meeting the artists and discussing how a piece was made, what the artist's intentions were, and more.

There is a monthly rotating exhibit with a new Boston section near the entrance. The gallery is now across from City Sports. Please click here for more info.

Hire a Boston Teenager Through Mayor's Summer Jobs Program

Every summer, the City of Boston and the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC) organize employers to participate in the Mayor's Summer Jobs Program. More than 3,000
Boston Public School students are hired each summer by more than 300 Boston businesses. To hire a student or learn more about summer jobs, please click here. The chart below shows how much it costs to hire a student.
