You're invited to start your holiday season in Downtown Crossing with Macy's Tree Lighting Festivities at 5 pm on Friday, November 28th. There will be a new pop-up holiday market, strolling carolers, and much, much more!



   

Macy's 2014 Downtown Crossing Tree Lighting Festivities 
Join Boston Mayor Martin Walsh,
Boston Celtic Brandon Bass, and
Santa Claus, as they flip the switch to light up the Macy's Christmas Tree to begin the holiday season in Downtown Crossing on Friday, Nov. 28th at 5 pm

Musical performances will begin on Summer Street at 5 pm with Macy's iHeart Radio contest winner Before You Exit,  Sons of SerendipThe Boston Children's Chorus, and country singer Jessie James Decker

Downtown Boston will shine even brighter this holiday season as the BID has partnered with property owners to illuminate more than 150 trees. Colorful, festive snowflakes will be projected onto building exteriors and sidewalks to stay lit and bring joy into the New Year.

The Downtown Holiday Market Opens November 29th

The
7th annual Downtown Holiday Market will be in a new pop-up location this year at 449
Washington St. in the former Tello's space. 

It opens on Saturday, Nov. 29th and is free and handicapped accessible. Building on the success of the popular outdoor market, local arts and craft vendors will sell their wares. Santa Claus will also be there! The market is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday, and 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday

Also, please remember that Downtown Boston street vendors will be selling food, clothing, memorabilia, and more all season long!
