Macy's 2014 Downtown Crossing Tree Lighting Festivities

Join Boston Mayor Martin Walsh,
Boston Celtic Brandon Bass, and
Santa Claus, as they flip the switch to light up the Macy's Christmas Tree to begin the holiday season in Downtown Crossing on Friday, Nov. 28th at 5 pm.
Musical performances will begin on Summer Street at 5 pm with Macy's iHeart Radio contest winner Before You Exit, Sons of Serendip, The Boston Children's Chorus, and country singer Jessie James Decker.

Downtown Boston will shine even brighter this holiday season as the BID has partnered with property owners to illuminate more than 150 trees. Colorful, festive snowflakes will be projected onto building exteriors and sidewalks to stay lit and bring joy into the New Year.
