5 Easy Ways to Help the Climate and Participate in UN Climate Summit Challenge in Boston

The UN Climate Summit is being held in New York City on September 23rd, and you can make little changes in Boston that helps the environment. Here are five easy steps you can do in your office:
  1. Shutdown your computer monitor - computers are some of the biggest energy users in offices. Turn your monitor off and don't use a screensaver.
  2. Choose the red light - LED bulbs use 75% less electricity that incandescent bulbs, and last about 25 times longer than traditional bulbs.
  3. Unplug idle electronics - devices like televisions, microwaves, scanners, and printers use standby power, even when off.
  4. Use power strips - use a power strip to turn all devices off at once.
  5. Turn off the lights! So simple and it'll save energy and money.

We want everyone to know we are working hard, and we are anxious to open our doors."
