Millennium Place Wins a 2014 Brick in Architecture Award

Congratulations to Handel Architects' Millennium Place, which was recently honored with a Best in Class award from the 2014 Brick in Architecture Awards

Handel Architects described Millennium Place: "The brick was selected to visually link the building to the rich historic texture of the early 20th century buildings on the east side of Washington Street. The 'true' roman brick that was used was readily employed in this district of Boston during the 1900-1910s, and Millennium Place was designed to evoke the loft-like structures of a century ago in a new idiom, with a high performance exterior cladding wall using masonry in pre-cast panels."
