The Tremont Tea Room - Psychic Readings Since 1936

The Tremont Tea Room has been in Downtown Boston since 1936 at several locations, and is currently at 101 Tremont St. And while tea leaves were the way of the past, and you can still get your leaves read, tarot card readings are the favored method for the Tea Room's psychics.

Co-owner Alex Palermo, pictured above, started working as a psychic at the Tea Room in 1993, explained the popularity of tarot readings, "Tarot cards give more belief to our customers because they can see the tarot cards. You don't have control of the tea leaves. People can ask questions about the tarot cards."

Palmero estimated that 86% of the Tea Room's clientele comes from the business district, with most being female.
There are more than 15 psychics who work at the Tremont Tea Room, with most having regular clients. Readings cost $40 for 15 minutes and $70 for 30 minutes, but discounts and coupons are often available. You can schedule an appointments by clicking here or by calling 617-338-8100. The Tremont Tea Room also does psychic parties at homes or businesses, classes and workshops.

"People come wanting to know their future, but leave with a better sense of who they are in the present, and what they need to do to create the future they want to have," said Palermo.

Thank You and Good Luck, Sharna! You've Helped Countless People at Weight Watchers

After 13 years of working full-time at the Weight Watchers in Downtown Boston, Sharna Small Borsellino, is taking her weight-loss skills outside of Boston.
"I came in 13 years ago needing to lose weight. I found a sense of self-confidence I hadn't found before. I knew I wanted to help others reach the same level of self-confidence," said Borsellino, #165 in photo above, with some of her members at the Weight Watchers 5K event held in Hingham. Borsellino could not estimate how many people she's helped through the years, adding she worked with about 150 members a week.

Borsellino is now leading one night meeting at the Dedham Weight Watchers on Monday nights at 6 pm.

As for advice for people looking to lose weight, Borsellino said, "It has to be their decision to want to accomplosh a healthy weight. They need to control their spaces where they make food-related decisions, so making the healthier choice has a greater probability."
