"Christmas In The City" Seeks Donations

The Boston Globe annually hails Kennedy Brothers Physical Therapy's "Christmas In The City", and it's no secret why: owner Jake Kennedy (below) runs one of Boston's most ambitious holiday toy drives.

Unfortunately, the demand for gifts continues to grow--and Jake needs your assistance to help make sure that all underprivileged children in Boston receive a gift this year. You can contribute by
donating online or by dropping off cash or check donations to Kennedy Brothers (45 Franklin St., 2nd Fl.). The BID thanks its readers for their generosity.
Downtown Boston Holiday Market Appears On "Keller At Large"

The Downtown Boston Holiday Market was featured on a recent "Keller At Large" segment on WBZ-TV. The piece, which spotlights Downtown Crossing in general, opens with a performance by the Downtown Boston Holiday Brass inside the Holiday Market Tent.

The arrival of Week 3 to the Downtown Boston Holiday Market brings new artisan vendors, such as Janice Toth (above), to the Holiday Market Tent. Visit here for info about Jan's fine art.

With just over a week left until Christmas, now is the time to visit the Holiday Market Tent, say hello to Santa Claus, and take in performances by the Brass Band and Berklee College Twilight Carolers!
