"Future Of Boston's Financial District" Panel Discussion
Capitalizing on intense interest in the Financial District's ongoing transformation, Bisnow is hosting a panel session on the "Future of Boston's Financial District" on Thursday, July 25th, from 7-10 am.
The event includes Harold Brown, Chairman of Hamilton Co., who will soon be opening Hamilton Crossing (8 Winter St.), John Rutledge, President of Oxford Capital Group, who will be opening the Godfrey Hotel (59 Temple Pl.) in 2014, and Mark Smith, Managing Director of EOP-Boston. Demolition This Weekend At Filene's Site
Millennium Partners' redevelopment of the Filene's site enters its next phase with this weekend's demolition of the 1905 Jones, McDuffee building fragment at Franklin & Hawley Streets. Demolition starts at 9 am on Saturday, July 20th, and continues through 11 pm on Sunday, July 21st. For complete details of the demolition plan, please visit here. There is also a map of the demolition plan along with a map of the post-demolition debris-removal plan. Mayor's Wednesday Night Concerts: Roberta Flack And More!
Complementing Outside The Box and Shakespeare On The Common, the Parks Department recently announced the launch of Mayor Thomas M. Menino's Wednesday Night Concerts On City Hall Plaza.
The free concert series kicks off Wednesday, July 24th, at 7pm, with an evening of "classic Philly soul" by The Stylistics. It concludes on Wednesday, August 28th, with a show by the legendary Roberta Flack (above). Call 617-635-4505 for more info.
