"Future Of Boston's Financial District" Panel Discussion
Capitalizing on intense interest in the Financial District's ongoing transformation, Bisnow is hosting a panel session on the "Future of Boston's Financial District" on Thursday, July 25th, from 7-10 am.
The event includes Harold Brown, Chairman of Hamilton Co., who will soon be opening Hamilton Crossing (8 Winter St.), John Rutledge, President of Oxford Capital Group, who will be opening the Godfrey Hotel (59 Temple Pl.) in 2014, and Mark Smith, Managing Director of EOP-Boston. The event will take place at the Long Wharf Marriott.

Burnham Building (Filene's) UpdateAs restoration of the Burnham Building enters its fourth month, Suffolk Construction has issued its first quarterly newsletter for the project. The newsletter describes the upcoming demolition of the 1905 Jones, McDuffee building. Demolition is slated to begin this week on the remaining fragment, which stands at Franklin & Hawley St. For questions about the demolition, or the project in general, please contact 617-445-3500.

Room With A View: Hamilton Crossing
The Downtown Boston BID took a tour of Hamilton Crossing (8 Winter St.) last week. The 12-story, 48-unit apartment tower includes studios and 1- and 2-bedroom units and is now complete. Hamilton Crossing is targeting a July 15th opening. Continuing Downtown Crossing's amazing residential boom, Hamilton Crossing is already 100% leased. Shakespeare On The Common Opens Saturday
"What happens in Milan, stays in Milan..." is the playful tagline for this year's Shakespeare On The Common production, "The Two Gentlemen Of Verona."
The show opens this Saturday, July 6th, at 8 pm, for a three-week run. As in years past, the amazing public performance is free to attend. Patrons can support CSC, the non-profit arts organization that produces the show, by reserving lawn chairs.

Think "Outside The Box" With New Festival On Common
In addition to Shakespeare, you'll find a lot more on the Common this July, with the brand-new Outside The Box festival starting soon.
The brainchild of Boston arts patron Ted Cutler, Outside The Box opens on Saturday, July 13th, bringing with it a wide variety of performing arts. Most events take place on Boston Common (visit here for the calendar). All shows are free to attend!
