Jun-Sept 2013 B E-Letter Header
Dear Readers,

I am happy to report that, at the June 13th meeting of the members of the Downtown Boston BID Corporation, the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District was renewed by an overwhelming vote of 117-to-7. We would like to thank all those who attended the meeting for showing their support and appreciation of the work being done.

Members celebrated the improved cleanliness, safety, and hospitable atmosphere that the BID has helped bring to the Downtown Crossing area. John Rattigan, Chair of the BID Board and Partner at DLA Piper, said, "The response was inspiring as member after member shared stories about the new look and feel of this neighborhood and the role the BID has played." John Murtha, GM of the Omni Parker House and host of the meeting, agreed, saying "The area is cleaner, there is no doubt about that."

For the complete story, see the Boston Globe coverage and our press release.

Sincerely,
Rosemarie E. Sansone
President
