Downtown Boston Pop-Up Summer Fashion Show
This Thursday, June 6th, don't miss your chance for a sneak peek at the summer's hottest fashions, right here in Downtown Boston. At 12 pm, a Pop-Up Summer Fashion Show will take place at Lafayette City Center (Washington St. & Ave. de Lafayette). "Summer is finally here and we're celebrating with this unique and fun lunchtime fashion show in the heart of Boston. This event is perfect for fashionistas or anyone looking for a fun activity to brighten their day," said event host Andrea Matteson of CBRE-Grossman Retail Advisors. The Pop-Up Summer Fashion Show is organized by partnership of diverse local businesses and associations, and offers a chance to come together in support of the Downtown Boston neighborhood and get expert fashion tips and a great show. Alongside Matteson, the event has been arranged by the Boston Redevelopment Authority and Downtown Boston BID. Our hosts will be joined by Donna Johanson, a personal shopper at Macy's, as she presents and weighs in on the top looks that we will be seeing--and wearing--all summer-long. All designs from the fashion show are being donated by Macy's, with appetizers provided by SIP and beverages from Walgreens. The Pop-Up Summer Fashion Show is also sponsored by the Abbey Group, Hyatt Regency Boston, Boston Building Wraps, Hot 96.9 and DJ Roy Barboza, CBRE, and CBRE-Grossman Retail Advisors. Please contact info@bostonbid.org for more info. We hope to see you at the show!
