"BIDs Making A Difference": BSA Event At Webster BankDowntown Boston BID President Rosemarie Sansone will join Paul Levy, CEO of Center City Philadelphia, and Frank LaTorre, President of the Providence Downtown Improvement District, for the lecture " Downtown Business Improvement Districts Making A Difference." The lecture will take place Thursday, February 21st, at 6:30 pm, at Webster Bank (100 Franklin St.). The event is part of the BSA's 2013 Urban Design Committee Schedule. Modern Theatre's Spring Schedule
Suffolk University's Modern Theatre has released its spring schedule, and Shakespeare lovers are in for a treat. The season starts with "Shakespeare & The Law," (Jan. 17), a public reading of "Richard III" by leading legal theorists, and continues with "The Last Will" (Feb. 13-24), a dramatization of Shakespeare's final years. The shows are produced by the Modern Theatre and the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company.

DLA Piper Boston Celebrates 10th Anniversary
DLA Piper's Boston office celebrated its 10th anniversary at Petit Robert Central last week with many friends, colleagues, and alumni.
Former Maine Senator George Mitchell (above), Chairman Emeritus of the firm's Global Board, returned to Boston to join the celebration. We congratulate DLA Piper and thank them for their leadership and support in creating the Downtown Boston BID.

Downtown Housing Development Updates
With construction at 120 Kingston St. (26-story, 240-unit, opening mid-2014) now at the half-year mark, there are four major housing development projects, representing almost 1,000 new units, well underway in downtown.
The Kensington (659 Washington St.) recently celebrated its topping-off ceremony. The 27-story, 381-unit residential tower is set to open late this year.
Millennium Place (580 Washington St.) has nearly finished installing its glass-and-brick facade. The 15-story, 265-unit residential tower is set to open in the second half of this year.
And Hamilton Crossing (8 Winter St.) will start leasing in March. The 12-story, 40-unit residential tower is in the final stages of development.

Soundgarden At Orpheum Theatre
Soundgarden--along with Pearl Jam, the most significant band to emerge out of the Seattle "grunge" scene--plays the Orpheum this Sunday at 8 pm.
The band, winner of multiple Grammy Awards, is on tour promoting their latest album, "King Animal."
