E&E Exhibit Solutions adds New State-of-the-art HP Printers

Technology is an ever changing, ever improving industry. Apple comes out with new iPhones each year and large format digital printing manufacturers are also upgrading and improving their equipment.

 

Recently E&E invested in three additional printers for the Trade Show Graphic Design Department to offer additional services for our customers.

 

 

HP 280 Latex - 104" wide printer

 

This printer will print on a wide array of medias such as cast and calendared vinyl's, scrim vinyl's,  window and floor media, and traditional paper media, but the big difference is that we will be able to produce "temporary" textiles for POP, Seasonal and trade show graphic applications.

 

Also, The HP 280 latex is an ultra-low VOC machine using water soluble latex inks. This means when using a post recycled media such as Tyvek or similar products these items can be recycled after use instead of thrown in to the trash.

 

HP z6200 - 42" and 60" models

 

The HP z6200 is a cost effective printer that produces some of the highest quality prints on the market today and provide the highest quality and definition.  

 

The other major change is that they have replaced the Cyan color channel with Red.  The printer still uses a light cyan to produce greens and blues but the addition of the Red channel opens up a larger color gamut not achievable with older models.

How Will You Connect with the Rising Number of Attendees in 2014?

 

According to The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) attendance for trade shows is expected to rise to an all time high over the next two years. 

 


 

The chart above is CEIR's index of several important factors metrics: exhibiting companies (EXH), attendance (ATT), gross revenue (REV), net square feet (NSF). Click on the image to see the information more clearly.

 

The green line represents the growing number of people expected in attendance at trade shows over the next two years. Notice the huge increase since attendance bottomed out in 2008/2009.

 

This is great news for those anticipating the benefits and ROI of their 2014 trade show participation.

 

As you plan your calendar of trade show exhibits in 2014, refer to the TSNN top 250 United States venues. TSNN offers the most current assessment of trade shows based on:

  • Available square footage
  • Attendance
  • Number of exhibitors

The list provides information about the event, location, dates and contact information. 

 

Once you have determined the trade shows you will participate in, it may be time to reassess the quality of your exhibit. With the increased attendance overall, this is your opportunity to ensure that your target customers visit your booth.

What can I do to stand out from the other trade show booths on the convention floor?

 

The best thing you can do is know your target market and show objectives. You have only about three seconds to grab attendees' attention, so you'll need to put together an effective and customized trade show displays and trade show graphics. Keep in mind how attendees will enter your booth. Will traffic come from one or multiple sides? Place graphics at each entrance at eye-level or above so attendees can quickly identify your company and what you do. Using bold images and simple messages will also help stop traffic and then it's up to your booth staff to continue your show objectives.
