President's Message

By Julie Gilbart

Well, according to pretty much all 82 people in attendance at our March 17 meeting, it was just hands-down, flat-out, no-doubt-about-it fantastic.

In large part this is thanks to our awesome Program Chair, Bonnie Parsley, who was able to book conservative author Trevor Loudon as our speaker.  Hailing from New Zealand, Mr. Loudon held the crowd rapt with his stunning revelations about exactly where and from whom the major policies now being instituted in the United States are coming.

Ever heard of the "Democrat Socialists of America"?  Formed in 1982, it's the largest Socialist organization in the U.S. - and the differences between their goals and communist goals are negligible.  Also like the Communist Party, their strategy is to implement their goals by stealth - infiltrating political parties, churches, labor unions, universities, the media, etc.  I think you'll agree they are doing a frighteningly good job, based on this goal for 2017, which they wrote in 1997:  "A U.S. President from the Progressive Caucus, a 50-member socialist caucus in Congress, and successful programs... of universal health care, progressive taxation, social provision and campaign finance reform."  Any of these sound familiar?

Many of the dozens of DSA members, and/or those

working with them, are Democrats whose names you would recognize, including former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner, former L.A. mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, CA Assemblyman Gil Cedillo, and Congress members Barney Frank, Henry Waxman, Maxine Waters, and the late Senator Ted Kennedy, to name just a few.

And, oh yes, here's another one:  Barack Obama -  for whom DSA claims credit for indoctrinating into the ideas of socialized health care and for designing "Obamacare".  This was done through former communist and committed DSA member Dr. Quentin Young, long-time friend and supporter of Obama's - and his personal physician for more than 20 years.

I wish I had time to elaborate, but the bottom line was we must - MUST - have a compelling 2015 Presidential candidate who can win the election.   Mr. Loudon laid out his plan to do that. (Please search YouTube for Loudon and watch him explain.)  Because after that, with the 8 million new Democrat voters, courtesy of Obama's recent amnesty, Texas will join CA as a blue state.  And once both Texas and CA's electoral votes all go to the Democrat, we will never again win a presidential election.  Sobering?  Yes.  But serves as a reminder of how ready we must be to mobilize & work for 2015!

Ending on a lighter note, please get your tickets now for our April 19th Fashion Show fundraiser (details in this newsletter).  It's gonna be fabulous, and you won't want to miss it!  I'll see you there. J

 Membership

MaryAnn S. Miller (951) 505-7428 and Melody Ingram-(951) 677-7887

Membership Co-Chairs

We are continuing to grow our membership, thanks to everyone's participation. Please continue to reach out to your neighbors, friends, and extended family and invite them to one of our events.

Since our "Shop Chic For A Cause" Fashion Show with PolitiChicks' Ann-Marie Murrell is later this month, why not invite someone to attend this special event with you???

Bear Creek is a unique venue, Chico's will be presenting the fashions and accessories, the food will be fabulous, and Ann-Marie Murrell is a great speaker. What a pleasant way to introduce someone to our Club. And, the price is only $30.00/person.

Also, our evening TVRWF meetings are still in their infancy. Each meeting has attracted new participants - stay-at-home mothers, homeschooling parents, and working women. We have secured some excellent speakers in the past - including speakers with in-depth knowledge of Common Core.

In 2015, we had a "full house" when President Abraham Lincoln came to visit the group. With tall hat and traditional 19th century garb, the late President introduced us to little known facts about Abraham Lincoln - the man, the legend, the humorist.....

Our next evening meeting will be in May and you will be receiving updated information on the location and the speaker. This will be another Must Attend event sponsored by TVRWF. It's another example of Our Club Reaching Out To You!
