We can't say thank you enough to everyone who helped make the Open House a wild success! Over 400 pilots and their families visited KLVJ on Saturday and we have to take a moment to thank all of the vendors and commercial operators that helped make the day so special.

Texan Flight (based at KLVJ) and the Commemorative Air Force Houston Wing were gracious enough to provide a static display of WWII vintage aircraft on our ramp. The display was a huge hit and the event wouldn't have been complete without them!

Texan Flight also donated a 20 minute flight in their T6 for the raffle!

And thank you to the based tenants who opened their hangars and welcomed guests to check out their personal aircraft.


Air Professionals, an A&P shop located at KLVJ, stepped up in multiple ways to help with this event.

Not only did the guys donate gift certificates for the raffle, they also purchased all of the cold beer, recruited help to direct cars for parking, and helped clean up at the end of the day!

A special thanks is due to Bill Gunn from TxDOT Aviation.

Bill made the drive down from Austin to speak about the importance of Pearland Regional to the airport system as well as the community at large. 

And as a bonus, he brought a stack of TAC charts for the welcome tent!

Western, LLC was on hand to unveil Phase 1 of our development plan - including T-hangars, condo hangars, and community hangar (where the event was held).

We were overwhelmed with the number and type of prizes donated for the raffle drawing. From based tenants to local businesses, we couldn't have asked for better participation. Congratulations to all of the lucky winners!
