WE PROUDLY SERVE STARBUCKS COFFEE
You told us you weren't exactly thrilled with our coffee selection - and we listened. We understand the importance of a good cup of joe before a flight.

So we're proud to announce we now serve FREE Starbucks coffee in the FBO. Stop by today for a hot cup while we fuel your plane!

Did we mention it's FREE?
ANTENNA TOWER UPDATE
In our February newsletter, we announced that the antenna tower near the airport was under new ownership and were told the light would be repaired by March 2.

We've been informed that they've ran into some issues and had to dismantle the fixture and ship it out for repairs. They now plan to have the new, repaired light installed by the end of this month.

We're continuing to monitor the progress and will keep you updated as soon as we know more. Please follow our Facebook and/or Twitter pages for real-time updates!
TREE CLEARING
If you've flown the pattern at KLVJ then you're familiar with a small group of trees near the approach of Runway 14.

We're working with Brazoria County to have these trees cleared in an effort to increase safety and make your flight a little easier. Due to the rain, the clearing has been pushed back but we expect them to be removed in the next two weeks.
ERCOUPE RODEO

On March 21, Air Professionals and the Ercoupe Owners Association will be hosting a celebration of 75 years of Ercoupe.

Pilots will be gathering at KLVJ for fuel (coffee for the pilots, 100LL for their planes) from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.

From there, they'll fly into Houston Hobby for the Wings and Wheels event at the 1940 Terminal Air Museum.

For more information, contact Chris Kelley via email or at (832) 971-6602. Details can be found on the Air Professionals website.
HELP US DISCOVER THE HISTORY OF LVJ
We're exploring the airport's history and we need your help! We're looking for pictures (of the airport AND the people), videos, and stories of KLVJ through the years. Did you get your pilot's license here? Have you lived on the airfield for decades? Do you remember when it was still called "Clover Field"?

Email your stories and photos to Cassidy and your story may be featured in one of our monthly newsletters!
