May is National High Blood Pressure Education Month
Now is a great time to talk to your doctor!
We should all be aware of what our blood pressure is, but it is especially important if you are or are planning on becoming pregnant. High blood pressure affects millions of Americans and can lead to stroke, heart failure or kidney damage.
Healthy blood pressure numbers should be less than 140/90. Work with your doctor to determine what your numbers are and if you need to be concerned about high blood pressure.
