The Passionate Pursuit of Efficiency
-Monthly Tip-

Plan tomorrow, today!

As you are winding down the last 15 minutes of your workday, it's time to start planning for tomorrow. Take 5 minutes to make a list with goals for the next day. Leave it out where you see it when you come in the next morning so you can hit the ground running. Take the last 10 minutes to tidy your work space. This will guarantee that tomorrow morning you will be as efficient as you can be!

Plan Ahead for a Stree-free Holiday!

Make a master list of your activities. Create a spreadsheet excel holiday list in Excel to list preparatory tasks that you repeat every year. This way, you don't have to think about what needs to go on your to do list. You already have it from last year and you can adjust as needed. Reviewing what you did the year before helps you avoid duplicating activities, particularly ones you said you would never do again! Your spreadsheet can include anything to do with holiday prep, from your gift list to holiday party attendance and planning, to your greeting card mailing list. Half the battle of being more productive during the holiday season is preparation.
