New Meeting Location Beginning in April

As you know, the Frida Center is closing on March 28th.  That means that we are losing our meeting space.  However, we have found a wonderful new location to meet.

We will meet at Valley Community Presbyterian Church beginning in April.  The meeting room is free.  AND, there is a built-in sectional that goes around most of the room.  Comfortable seating anyone?

There is also a kitchenette attached to the room.

Caregiver Appreciation Day!

Our February meeting was about our caregivers. We wanted to accomplish two goals:

-Thank our caregivers.
-Give our caregivers a place to ask questions and see that we all experience fatigue, brain fog, pain, etc.

We had a panel of caregivers which included Don Rognlien (Jo Anne's husband), Bob Staples (Tamara's husband) and Missy Baxter (her ex-husband has fibro and Lyme).

Tami Stackelhouse performed a short demonstration of "The Spoon Theory," to help those in attendance better understand what it is like to live with chronic illness, fatigue and pain.
