Riedel Glass Seminar Back by Popular Demand!
Join Riedel Crystal and the Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance for a Journey of the Senses featuring Riedel glasses and Petaluma Gap wines.
Does the shape of a glass influence our perception of wine? Can the shape of a glass impact our enjoyment of food? Join us Wednesday, June 22nd from 7 to 9 pm at the Petaluma Woman's Club for an informative and interesting wine and glass experience. The wines being explored will be award-wining wines from Petaluma Gap wineries! Each participant will leave with three Riedel wine glasses -- a $130 retail value!
Riedel experts will demonstrate the effect that the shape of a wine glass has on each unique varietal and how stemware translates and delivers the bouquet, taste, balance, and finish of a wine to the senses.

Sustainable Winegrowing Webinars
Petaluma Gap growers are encouraged to join a free webinar with California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance staff to learn more about the tools and resources available to California growers and vintners through the Sustainable Winegrowing Program (SWP), including a demo of the SWP online self-assessment system, information about Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW-Certified), and background on the online Performance Metrics tool. Keller Estate
 Please join Keller Estate on June 14th at 6:00 pm at the first pop-up winery tasting event for the Family Artisanal Wineries of the World (FAWW). In this very special Venetian Wine Tasting, Reka Haros will be here to share with a selected group the unique story of Sfriso Winery and how inheriting it in 2002 has changed her and her husband's life. She will be presenting Sfriso Winery's four flagship Italian wines that will also be available for pre-order. Click HERE for tickets.
Experience Midsummer Magic at Azari Vineyards on July 16th! Enjoy a warm midsummer day full of joy, and wine (of course). Relax and unwind with some of our 2014 Azari Riesling as you gaze dreamily at our breathtaking view of the valley. Sip on our 2012 Azari Pinot Noir as you nibble on our famous wood-fired pizza and a special summer seafood paella. Finally, cool down with our special Corkscrew sangria as dreamy music fills the summer air. For the young ones, we will have two sheep from a local farm to (gently) pet. The tasting room gallery will also be displaying whimsical oil on canvas paintings of sheep and landscapes by Pari Azari. Wine Club members are invited (along with one guest) at no cost. Waxwing Wines
 Join Waxwing Wines at their Belmont, CA winery every Friday night for Friday Night Flights tasting series. The tastings feature five Waxwing current release wines in a flight or served wine by the glass. Both options are $10. Belmont is on the SF peninsula in San Mateo County, just south of SFO by 15 minutes. It's a great way to unwind on a Friday night for folks on the SF peninsula. The winery is at 111 Industrial Rd, Unit 8, Belmont, CA and the tastings go from 6 to 9 pm.

 Don't miss the Sonoma County Winegrowers Annual Grower Seminar, Tradeshow and Barbecue on Friday, June 3, 2016, from 7:30 am - 1:00 pm at the SRJC Shone Farm located at 7450 Steve Olson Lane, Forestville, CA.
Each year, the seminar covers issues of importance to grape growers and the wine industry community. The event is open to all wine industry, allied industry members and the public. The tradeshow will feature over 50 vendors. Lunch with Sonoma County wines is included with the ticket price. The annual Viticulture Award of Excellence will also be presented.
