Time to Renew Your Membership!
This past year was a busy and exciting time for the Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance! In addition to a full schedule of educational events and targeted media tastings, we completed and submitted our petition to become an official American Viticultural Area -- YAY! Other highlights of our 2015 accomplishments include:
- Increased our grower membership representation to 82% of total planted acreage in the Gap
- Increased our winery/producer membership to more than 30
- Sponsored our first grower/winemaker fruit sourcing event
- Launched our inaugural Wind to Wine consumer event
- Designed and produced vineyard signs for all grower members

Welcome signs will be installed in 2016. This first sign is on Lakeville Highway at the Sleepy Hollow Vineyard.

Our planned activities and goals for 2016 include:
- Achieve final AVA approval
- Launch an enhanced PR campaign to promote Gap wines
- Organize targeted trade and media tastings
- Hold our second Wind to Wine consumer event
- Increase our grower representation to 90%+ of Gap acreage
- Install "Welcome to the Petaluma Gap" signs at key locations
To accomplish all that and more, we need your continued support -- and that begins with renewal of your membership for 2016. Renewal reminders were recently sent out to all expiring Industry, Associate, and Friends members. If you haven't already done so, please take a moment to renew your membership for 2016.
