Greetings Fellow Healer!
Spring continues vibrantly! Nature calls us outside. Sunshine beckons intermittently, yet increasingly...Our bodies need the Vitamin D! (Sunscreen is important. Natural sunshine is important... Ah, Balance!) Our inner wisdom needs to feel nature's rhythms. We need to breath in the fresh, outdoor air! We need to hear neighborhood sounds from outside our walls. I invite you to go to your own outdoors. Experience the intuitive pulse that nature is. Let it stir in you your own inner wisdom.
Please watch the video message below. I taped outdoors this month!
Through Moonstone Center, I am putting on a 6 hour CE experience on May 18, focused on honoring your voice, your personal wisdom in your role as Healer. Wisdom relies on intuition, a right brain process. Wisdom can be cultivated more deeply as we develop in any endeavor, but wisdom is also an inner knowing that can come to any Healer of any developmental stage. Learning to listen to that inner voice and trusting ourselves and our inner voices is a form of wisdom.
I want to invite you to yourself.
Rest when you need to. Play when you need to. Market and attend to the finance and business aspects of your profession. Seek out continuing education that is relevant and meaningful to you. Join routinely with colleagues you like and respect. Spend time in nature. Pray regularly, spending time with your God. Be present to your partner, your children, your grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Be awake with your grandparents, your parents, your friends. Be present to yourself! Return to your natural biorhythms. You are a vibrant, living, breathing, whole entity!
Spend time attending lovingly and with care to all aspects of you - mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.
Please take a moment and enjoy my video message to you!

Networking in month of April!
Moonstone Center's Southbay (Los Angeles area) Networking Lunch was a great reunion of the original Rae Thrasher group!
California Psychological Association held an energizing convention in Newport Beach, CA. I had a blast reconnecting with psychologists who I knew from my early days as a grad student at Fuller Theological Seminary to my years at The Guidance Center (Long Beach, CA) to my time as a PostDoc Supervisor at Harbor UCLA to more recent connections with Los Angeles County Psychological Association leadership, and establishing some new connections with CPA leadership and involved graduate students, as well as others moving and leading us as a field in the area of TeleHealth.
San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association (Pasadena CA) held another meaningful 1.5 Hour CE Luncheon that fed my psychodynamic soul. And I met a psychologist in person who I had previously met via Twitter!
LACPA South Bay continues to build slowly, and steadily under the leadership of Dr. Beverly Mitchell. As local psychologists are beginning to meet with each other for purposes of networking, mentoring the next generation, and supporting one another as we serve our local community.
Julie Brown, Moonstone Center's Events Manager and Community Liaison keeps me informed of her valuable connections on my behalf at CAMFT LB-SBay and CAMFT LA & AAMFT-LA each month. Thank you for welcoming her on my behalf and supporting Moonstone Center as we attempt to support you!
I am also enjoying connecting with many of you through LinkedIn, Twitter, and my professional FaceBook page. I believe I am moving through my technology fear slowly and steadily with each tweet! Please join me through social media!
I hope to see or connect with you before the next newsletter! Register for the May 18 Event
