Interfaith Pilgrimage to Israel and Palestine
January 6 - 18, 2016

13-day, 12-night global travel opportunity to be part of groundbreaking interfaith pilgrimage and dialogue intensive. This invitation to Palestine and Israel, the birthplace of three religions, is open to the wider United community. Be part of a multifaith group practicing the art of dialogue as you travel through the land, experience one another's sacred sites and practices, and learn from one another's reflections.
 
You'll have unique access to understanding contemporary issues through relationship-building, along with facilitated discussions with conflict resolution professionals. Guides and speakers comprise Israeli, Palestinian, Christian, Jewish and Muslim, with conservative, moderate and progressive perspectives.
 
Registration for the trip to Turkey is open to the wider United Community, joining M.Div. and D.Min. students enrolled in the Global Journey course. As a course auditor, you'll travel to
this culturally exciting destination-where Europe meets Asia-and participate in numerous deep, educational interfaith encounters, including sharing meals in the homes of local hosts.
 
The reasonable cost for the trip,including flights, two-to-three star accommodations, local transport, official programming, meals and insurance, is due to generous partnerships in Turkey.
