A SPECIAL INVITATION TO UNITED STUDENTS
Workshop Assistants Needed!

As a student you can register for the annual Summer Institute in Spirituality and the Arts at the discounted rate of $75. Another way to receive a significant discount is to be a Workshop Assistant (WA). Cindi Beth Johnson has several slots available for WAs, who pay only a $25 registration fee for the entire Summer Institute (and any applicable supply fees). In turn, WAs assist their assigned instructor with room setup, making copies, helping with supplies, etc. WAs can then take part in the workshop, as well as a workshop in the other part of the day. Most of the assisting happens during the workshop, but occasionally a WA may need to stay late or arrive early (15-30 minutes). If you are interested in being a Workshop Assistant, please contact Cindi Beth Johnson at cbjohnson@unitedseminary.edu

Every Wednesday from 10-12 we will be meeting on the site - behind McMillan Center to:  volunteer help, learn different farming/gardening practices, and tie this all together as spiritual practice.

We are blessed to have Robin Raudabough as the Farm manager.  She has the experience owning and operating the Nitty Gritty Dirt Farm - a successful CSA Farm (Community Supported Agriculture).  Robin also has the passion and desire to draw connections with food, faith, and farming .
