Former Surgeon General of US Army Joins VoiceFriend

VoiceFriend is pleased to announce that Major General Gale S. Pollock (Ret) has joined VoiceFriend as a member of our Board of Advisors. 

Major General Pollock was the first woman, non-physician Commander of the US Army Medical Command and Acting Surgeon General of the Army.  She was the 22nd Chief of the Army Nurse Corps and had command and leadership experiences at multiple levels and locations across the Army.  MG Pollock's awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal

After her transition from the Army, she became a Fellow in Harvard University's Advanced Leadership Initiative.  She remains an adjunct clinical professor of Yonsei University Graduate School of Nursing in Seoul, Korea. MG Pollock is a Fellow in The American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN).
