Main Drive Closed Until Sunday AM
The bulk of the work will be completed Thursday with the driveway patch being applied on Friday, June 19th. Due to the extreme heat this week, that patch will be soft for some time making it necessary to close our main lot through Sunday morning. Even though we will be open for our service, if you can remember try to enter our parking lot via Library Lane and avoid driving over the newly patched pavement. The heat will keep it soft for several days and turning your wheels could cause damage. What About the Bottle & Can Drive Saturday?
What a great question, you get an A for paying attention to our Fundraising calendar and knowing to bring your donation anytime from 8:30 am until 12 noon.
Seriously, look for my Big Tex and army of helpers (feel free to be one of them!) in the dirt parking lot near the shed. Since cars will have to enter via Library Lane anyhow, it seems to make sense to keep off the pavement altogether.
Come down and support the bottle drive and thank you all for your patience while we complete our major construction projects this summer.
