Message from the Directors
Dear Rainier Families,
We look forward to seeing as many students as possible on Wednesday, July 30 for our Get Stuff Done Day starting at 6pm on the Tahoma Campus. We will have stations for students to turn in paperwork, take school pictures and meet new classmates. Plus, we'll have fun treats for students to enjoy once they "get stuff done" and a raffle for prizes. The make up meeting for Fall Athletics will also be held for any students who wish to participate in Cross Country, Volleyball or Cheer and missed last week's mandatory meeting.
Our Summer Mixer, will be held from 4 - 6pm on August 2 and we expect a big turnout with returning and new families from both campuses joining together to build excitement for the 2014-2015 school year. All San Jose community members are welcome, so bring along relatives, coworkers, friends, and your child's friends to join in on the festivities.
The second summer mailer with lots of information about our summer events, back to school forms and paperwork was sent home earlier this month. All forms need to be returned at the Get Stuff Done Day or to the office by August 1.
We are thrilled to welcome Lupe Trujillo as our new Office Manager. Many of you may already know her as she has been active with our school since the founding of Summit San Jose - her daughter Daisy started in Rainier's first class and will be a senior this year. Lupe brings her wonderful organization skills and warm personality to our school. She can be reached by email at gtrujillo@summitps.org. Welcome, Lupe!
School starts for all students on Monday, August 18. Our start time is 9am and end time is 4pm. As a reminder we have a new Dress Code Policy in place in lieu of uniforms. Please review it before making back to school clothing purchases.

Kevin Bock, Assistant Director

What better way to get to know our Executive Director Mr. Roe and Assistant Director Mr. Bock than by dunking them at the Dunk Tank Booth at the Summer Mixer?
We are looking for a few more volunteers. Please sign up to help on this list to ensure a great event for our community.

We have Recruitment Open House events for any interested families scheduled for:
