The Gilroy Garlic Festival is one of the premier food events in the state. Volunteers are needed to help prepare food in the Gourmet Alley. No experience needed, you will be trained on the job. You will earn money for Summit San Jose Schools and the volunteer hours will count towards your annual commitment. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old, so our high school students can volunteer too. Learn more and sign up here.

Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Summer Mixer volunteers are needed - please sign up on the Events Committee on this sheet. Summer Interact
Interact Club of Summit Rainier is hosting a Summer Interact program from early July to mid-August. Interact Club is the youth division of Rotary International. Interact Club focuses on teaching people the importance of serving the community while making new friends, having fun, and building leadership skills. We have a mixture of both service events and fun bonding get-togethers planned such as ice skating and ice cream socials. We especially encourage incoming freshmen to sign up as they figure out what they want to do in high school as well as meet their fellow Bulldogs before school starts in August. There is no monetary fee for Interact, but the time your student puts into Interact will pay you back many times over.
