Dear Students and Families, 

 

Please read these prom reminders carefully. Let me know if you have questions. 

 

Tickets: $15 for Summit students, $20 for guests. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. Students must buy their tickets before they leave school on Friday. 
  • If you have a guest, make sure he/she brings an ID and the filled out guest pass to the door at Prom.
Location: Clubhouse at the Villages Golf and Country Club
5000 Cribari Ln, San Jose, CA 95135
  • When you get the the Villages, there will be an entrance with a guard. Tell the guard you are going to Summit San Jose's Junior Prom and give them your name. The guard will have a list of names of prom guests. 
Time: 7:45 - 10:45 PM 
  • Ms. Toyama and some parents will be arriving early to set up at 6:30 PM. 
  • Students must arrive by 8:45 PM or else they will not get in. 
Attire: Formal wear. Theme is 1920s, but it is not required to dress with the theme.
 
Refreshments and Entertainment: Light appetizers and sodas will be provided. Students should plan to eat dinner before arriving at prom. There will be a professional DJ, photo booth and professional photographer. Students will select a Prom King and Prom Queen for Rainier and Tahoma. 
Important Rules: Summit's zero tolerance policy will be in full effect. Absolutely no drugs/alcohol, physical or emotional violence. Remember, we are guests on this private property and we represent our school. Students bringing guests are responsible for the behavior of their guests. 
  • Teachers from both Rainier and Tahoma will be present at Prom, and Ms. Hannon will be present as Administrative Support.
