Dear Parents and Guardians,
For the past month students in U.S. History and English have been working diligently on their Humanities Research projects. Students have been assigned to research topics that they are passionate about, form historical questions, and address them in a college-level research paper and presentation. Students have focused on many topics, such as racism, sports, culture, and space exploration.
We would like to cordially invite you to attend the Humanities Research Presentations, which will be taking place on Thursday, May 29th and Monday, May 2 - Wednesday, May 4th in Rm. 1219. This is a great opportunity for our community to participate in the learning process of our students and to celebrate their hard work.

Estimados Padres y Guardianes,
Este mes, los estudiantes de las clases de historia y ingles han estado trabajando diligentemente en sus proyectos, "Humanities Research Projects." Ellos han estado investigando temas que les interesan, formando preguntas sobre el tema, y respondiendo a las preguntas en un ensayo y presentación al nivel universitario. Los estudiantes han escrito sobre muchos temas, por ejemplo, el racismo, la cultura, los deportes, y exploraciones del espacio.
Los queremos invitar a las presentaciones que se darán de acabo el jueves 29 de mayo y el lunes 2 de junio - miércoles 4 de junio en el salón 1219. Las presentaciones son una buena oportunidad para que padres, guardianes, y maestros, participen en el proceso escolar y también para que celebren el trabajo de nuestros estudiantes.
