Dear Rainier Families,
Rainier's 2014-2015 school calendar is now available and published on the PIVOT website. In order to ensure well-spaced two week sessions for Expeditions, coordinated Professional Development for teachers, ample instructional time, and coordination of resources and training across the 5 different districts served by Summit Public Schools, we took the time we needed to have a calendar that will support student success. Here are some of the highlights to mark in your calendars:
- Start date for all students, Monday, 8/18/2014
- Thanksgiving Break 11/24 - 11/28/2014
- Winter Break 12/22/2014 - 1/5/2015
- February Break 2/16 - 2/20/2015
- Spring Break 4/6- 4/10/2015
- End date for all students, Thursday, 6/11/2015
We are working on reserving a site for our camping trip, so we will publicize that date as soon as we have finalized our reservation. An events calendar listing with all other Rainier events will follow in the summer mailing.

Dear Summit Rainier Parent,
At Summit Public Schools, we are constantly gathering information to enrich the experience of you and your child(ren) at Summit. Your feedback is critical to our success. Please take 5 minutes to respond to our short survey here to let us know what's important to you, what we're doing well, and what areas you suggest for improvement. We want to hear from all of our parents because every member of our community is important. We are aiming for a 100% participation rate!The survey will be open until Friday, June 6th.
