Message from the Directors
Dear Rainier Families,
An outstanding job earlier this week by our Tech team as we piloted the new Smarter Balanced tests for the 11th graders. Bryant Wong, Peter Cazanis, Jack Chen and AJ Schuck were all on campus to troubleshoot any tech issues. Juniors, thank you for your patience and hard work on this week's tests!
We are looking for parents to participate in a one hour parent feedback session facilitated by SPS's Quantitative Data Analyst and Director of Family Engagement. These sessions will help inform and improve our school practices. The meetings will take place Wednesday, May 7 and Friday, May 9 at Rainier. If you are interested, please complete this short survey that will list available times.
More than ever, we strongly encourage students who are behind in their coursework or need extra help from teachers to attend ALL before and after school PLT opportunities. Teachers have been holding structured workshops on specific projects and playlists during these times, and students who attend report that these sessions are extremely helpful.
