Summit Public Schools: Rainier
November 4, 2013

Summit San Jose Students:

Join Sal Khan and the team at Khan Academy for an open brainstorm session around the future of education. We're looking for high school students with ideas to rethink and redesign schools. This includes but isn't limited to new learning technology - we want to think as broadly as possible about designing new school models for the 21st century. The event will start with a short talk from Sal Khan, and then will go into an open brainstorm for up to 100 high school students.

Who: For high school students with big ideas about how school should evolve.

What: An opportunity to brainstorm with Sal Khan and the team at Khan Academy, generating ideas for what the future of school could look like.

Why: With new ideas and new technology being created, this is the time to re-imagine what learning could be like in and out of school. These ideas will inform new initiatives from Khan Academy, and could lead to ways to be involved in projects to redesign education online and offline.

When: Saturday, November 9th from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm (we encourage attendees to stay for the duration of the event).

Where: Khan Academy HQ (an email with directions will be sent to attendees before the event).

What Else: Lunch will be provided.
