Microsoft Convergence 2015
|
Those were some of the major takeaways published yesterday in a post on LinkedIn by martinwolf's Gaurav Sharma and Matthew Putzulu, who earlier this month attended Microsoft Convergence in Atlanta. While there, they met with several services providers and independent software vendors to hear their thoughts on the Microsoft Dynamics space.
The post details some of Microsoft's key strengths as they relate to Dynamics, including its history of success in the enterprise space and its diverse partner network that offers a range of solutions and services tailored across vertical and industry. It also goes into Gaurav and Matthew's predictions on what's next both for the space and for enterprise software in general.
As one company we met with put it, "Oracle has lots to worry about" - Microsoft "knows what it is doing" and is winning large enterprise customers in head to head bidding competitions. Overall, while the companies we met with were able to identify areas of improvement, the overall impression was of Microsoft Dynamics as an increasingly appealing offering well-positioned to penetrate the enterprise market.
