The BigTime Burpathon
 Tracy (BigTime Results Trainer) has agreed to do 1 Burpee for every Dollar we raise. All money will go to Habitat For Humanity and will build playground equipment for children who live in our Habitat community, right here in Springfield. All Proceeds in excess of $2500 will go to Girls on the Run. A few of the other trainers have agreed to help Tracy when he runs out of gas (which we have never seen). Noah will do 1000 burpees in retribution for what he has put everyone else through all these years.

What inspired you to change your lifestyle? Last September, I came to the realization that I needed to change my lifestyle or I wasn't going to be able to be the father that I wanted to be. I want to be the kind of dad who can be active with my kids and not just watch from the sidelines and I had let myself get to a place that would have forced me to the sidelines.
I also wanted to set a good example for my family. Its important to me to lead by example and I don't want my kids to have to fight their weight their entire life. Its something that my family has fought for generations back and I decided I wanted to be the generation that bucked the trend. I realized the only way to do it was a true lifestyle change.
What have you learned about yourself during this transformation?
Tracy, my trainer, often says NBD (Nothing but Determination.) I've learned the power of determination. What was once a far reaching goal is inched closer and closer to by staying determined and on course.
What advice do you give others that aspire to have similar results as you?
Consistently making small healthy decisions will lead to success. I didn't get to where I where I was overnight or with one poor decision. It was numerous poor choices that all added up. In the same way you won't find success overnight, but if you commit to making small healthy choices each day you will win the race. Stay the course and have NBD.

1st Annual ROBIN MELTON MEMORIAL POLO MATCH TO BENEFIT C.A.R.E. ANIMAL RESCUE. (a 501c3 non-profit)

- Location: Springfield Polo Club Field 5964 S. Hwy NN, Rogersville.
- Time: Gates open at 3 p.m.; Polo Match starts at 4 p.m.
- Traditional divot stomping at half time.
- Dinner, auctions, live music to follow Polo Match.
- C.A.R.E. cats and dogs will be there for adoption.
- Bring a lawn chair and sunglasses.
- Tickets for Polo Match: $10 - Kids 12 and under is free.

Healthy Chicken Skewers
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts
 - 1 green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 Spanish onion
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions:
- Slice chicken, peppers and onions into 1 x 1 inch cubes.
- In shallow pan, combine chicken cubes with peppers, onions, soy sauce, oil, ginger, sugar and garlic. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Weave marinated chicken, peppers, and onions onto skewers.
- Preheat broiler and place rack in shallow baking pan.
- Broil skewers about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until chicken is tender. Serve on bed of steamed rice.
Serves: 4

We are working on an awesome location and will be posting it soon! We will also have a course map up for you to view. Expect last year's favorite obstacles and new ones for a surprise!
Wave times will begin at 8 am and continue through 1:30 pm. You must arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour before your start time. You may not check-in more than 1 hour before your start time. Participants will register for the time slot of their choosing. We will also offer a free bag check for racers.
