Trend Alert:
Homeowners are Rocking Dramatic Style with Manufactured Stone

Manufactured stone is the new "it" accessory for residential construction - and this trend is catching on for both exteriors and interiors. There are many ways to "rock" manufactured stone. As its popularity grows, we've noticed four key trends you might be interested to know about.

Trend #1: Dry Stack Rules
Today's favorite stone choice across the nation is Dry Stack. This style features the look of smaller stones that provide an elegant, natural look that's very versatile. The Dry Stack Collection from Heritage Stone by ProVia is an example of this style.

Trend #2: Exotic Designer Colors
Designers and architects are increasingly specifying colors with more reds, purples and burgundies mixed with earth tones to complement colors in carpet, walls or window treatments. Responding to this demand, Heritage Stone has been adding stone colors - for example, there are 11 stone color choices for the Dry Stack Collection.

Trend #3: Dramatic Accents

Stone can add dramatic accents throughout the home. Inside, stone can be used around a bathtub to create a spa-like retreat.  For the outdoor kitchen, exterior stone accents can deliver plenty of wow factor, without the wallet cringe that a traditional stone-laying job would entail.

Trend #4: Recapturing Home Equity
Homeowners are looking for ways to add value by increasing curb appeal and upgrading finishes in the home. For rental properties, exterior stone can help owners command top dollar. For builders, manufactured stone can be used to create unique offerings in the local market.

Manufactured stone is trending...
and just the "bling" homeowners are looking for!
