• What: Urban Service Projects, Houston Aquarium

Sun., June 29 - 5:30-7:30 p.m - Youth group will be going to Hope House. This counts for community service hours. We will be playing games with the children and youth at Hope House. Please be on time at 5:30 p.m. sharp so we may arrive at Hope House on time at 6:00 p.m.

Sun., July 6 - 5:30-7:30 p.m. - On your mark, get set, bake! Youth Group, dust off your aprons and start your ovens. We will be baking 35 dozen cookies to be enjoyed during fellowship on the following Sunday.  

Youth Group will be held on Sundays this summer EXCEPT on the following dates:

Christian Community Camp August 2-9 ONLY 1 PRIVATE ROOM LEFT!

Each summer, families and individuals from the church gather for a glorious week in the Rocky Mountains. We call it "Christian Community Camp" because the week allows folks to build friendships with fellow church members of all ages while growing in faith in the midst of God's creation. We stay in two beautiful lodges (16 bedrooms and eight bedrooms) at the YMCA of the Rockies near Estes Park. Home cooked meals are prepared by generous volunteers from our church. Days are free to hike, ride horses, fish, boat, craft or read a book on the wraparound porch. In the evenings the group gathers for devotions and activities such as hayrides and nature programs.

Middle School (6th-8th) and High School (9th-12th) gather for refreshments and announcements in the Youth Center (Rm. 205).  After opening, Middle School moves to Room 202 for a lesson.
