Hope House Service Project Needs You!
Please sign up for our service project at Hope House this Sunday! We need more youth (and families!).

We are hosting a holiday party for the residents at Hope House.  Instead of dropping off your middle or high school student for this event, plan to stay and join us in hosting the party for the Hope House children and moms. We will have lunch in the Social Hall at noon and then leave at 1:00 p.m. A guest speaker will be here from Hope House to tell us about the organization. The party will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and then we will return to church. Students can be picked up at 4:30 p.m. if families do not attend. Please RSVP by clicking on this link.

Next Week
Sat., Dec. 21, White Elephant Christmas Party (for 9th-12th graders and friends), 5:00-7:00 p.m. Get together with old and new friends as we celebrate Christmas! Join us at the Jensen's home for a cozy night of playing games, catching up and listening to Christmas music. Snacks and hot chocolate will be served. Please bring a wrapped gift for under $10 for a white elephant gift exchange (the more hilarious, the better). Friends and guests are welcome.  RSVP at this link.

Sun., Dec. 22, Middle School Christmas Party (for 6th-8th graders and friends), noon.
Come celebrate the season! Get together with other middle school students for an afternoon of ice skating at Crown Center Ice Terrace. We will eat lunch in the Social Hall after church and go ice skating from there. We will return to church at 3:30 p.m. for pickup. Bring friends to this fun-filled event! Each participant needs to bring a signed permission slip to the event. RSVP at this link.

This month's focus will be the children's musical and youth mission trips. We will meet from 12:15-1:00 p.m. in the Youth Center.

2014 Musical is Coming!
Happily Forever After (A Musical for Kids about the Kingdom of God).

We are so excited about the musical and we hope that you will be, too! Knights! Castles! Princesses! Dragons! This story is not just an excuse to brandish swords and wear tiaras. It's a captivating and gospel-rich musical that tells the story of Princess Pride, Sir Brags-a-lot, and their curious band on an amazing trek in a very faraway land. When the Carpenter from another kingdom brings the troubling news that their castle is actually built on sand and will not withstand the coming storm, they hesitantly choose to follow him as he has promised to show them a better kingdom. Assuring them that he'll take them all the way and will never leave them, they encounter troubles, temptations, and some very funny characters!  Sunday, Mar. 9, 12:15 p.m., Social Hall

This year, youth are invited to participate in the musical as well. Clear your throats and get ready for the upcoming auditions.
