This Week
Sun., Nov. 17, 12:15 p.m. - Fireside Chat with Rev. Monica Lewis. Families of children and youth are invited to join Rev. Monica Lewis on Sun., Nov. 17 at 12:15 p.m. in the Youth Center (Rm. 205) for conversation about the future of Children, Youth and Families Ministries. Ask questions and hear about what's coming in the weeks and months ahead. A light lunch will be provided.

Sun., Nov. 17 - Games and Discussion Night, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Chi Rho will do an I AM collage activity. CYF will discuss twerking. Yes, you read that correctly, twerking.  We will also learn some new games as well as play old favorites. Come for fun and fellowship.

Pastors' Class Information Meeting - 6:00-6:45 p.m., Social Hall. See below for details.
Next Week
Sun., Nov. 24, 11:00 a.m., Social Hall. - Youth will participate in the Advent in Advance event in place of Youth Group. No youth group that evening.

And Beyond
Sun., Dec. 15, Hope House Service Project.  We are hosting a Holiday Party for the residents at Hope House. The party will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. We will have lunch in the Social Hall after the 11:00 a.m. service with a visitor from Hope House and then leave at 1:00 p.m. Youth can be picked up at church at 4:30 p.m. when we return. Please help make the party a success by clicking on this link and signing up to bring supplies or help out at the event.

Poinsettia Sale
Youth will be selling poinsettias again this year to raise money for youth ministry programs and missions. We will be in the Parlor on Sun., Nov. 24 and Sun., Dec. 1 to take orders.  Full payment must be received with all orders. Plants will be available for pick up from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 7, and Sun., Dec. 8, at the church.  The poinsettias cost $13 for a 6-inch plant, $19 for an 8-inch plant, and $25 for a 10-inch plant.

Pastors' Class Informational Meeting
Parents of current 6th graders are invited to an informational meeting about Pastors' Class on Sun., Nov. 17, from 6:00-6:45 p.m. in the Social Hall. Parents are invited to join their children for dinner at 5:30 p.m. Pastors' Class prepares the youth for baptism and/or church membership.  Questions?  Contact Monica Lewis. 

All-Church Caroling Party

Here we come a-caroling! Get into the spirit of the Christmas season by joining us to spread musical cheer throughout our church neighborhood. Gather your family and friends and join us on Sun., Dec. 8 at 5:00 p.m. We'll meet in the Social Hall, then divide into teams to carol in the neighborhoods surrounding the church. Dave the coffee guy will be on hand with his cart of fancy coffees and hot chocolate to warm you up. Chili and cornbread dinner served in the Social Hall after caroling.

Chi Rho (6th-8th) and CYF (9th-12th) gather for refreshments and announcements in the Youth Center (Rm. 205).  After opening, Chi Rho moves to Room 202 for a lesson.

  

Fellowship Singers

Fellowship Singers  rehearse from 9:45- 10:15 a.m. Sunday mornings. All youth (6th-12th grade) are invited and encouraged to participate.
