Chi Rho and CYF Youth, Parents and Sponsors! Here's what's going on for 6th-12th graders at Country Club Christian Church.
Welcome Dinner for Rev. Monica Lewis
Sun., Oct. 13 - 5:30-6:00 p.m., Social Hall

 

Monica Lewis All youth and their parents are invited to come to a welcome dinner for Monica, the new Minister to Children, Youth and Families. Please RSVP to Mary Margaret so we have enough food.

From 6:00-7:30 p.m., we will have regular Youth Group and Monica will share her story of faith and get acquainted with the youth.

  • Youth Council - Noon, Youth Center
  • CYF and Chi Rho Youth Group Night of Service. 4:30-6:30 p.m. (time change!) We will meet at church at 4:30 p.m. to go to Sheffield House to cookout for the residents and play games with them. We will return for pick up at 6:30 p.m. We will eat a snack on the road to Sheffield House.

  • 5:30-6:00 p.m. Reception for Rev. Monica Lewis for youth and families. RSVP to Mary Margaret House so we have enough food. 
  • 6:00-7:30 p.m. Youth Group. Monica share her faith journey and lead youth in discussion. 
And Beyond
   

Worlds of Fun - Oct. 20. Our annual Worlds of Fun outing. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can determine cost - who has season passes and number who are going. 

 

Halloween Party - Oct. 27. We will join Club Kids on Sun., Oct. 27, for a Halloween Party. Costumes are encouraged and parents are invited. 5:30-7:30 p.m. 

 

CYF Retreat is tentatively scheduled for Friday, November 15. Keep checking for more information!

 

 

Acolyte Schedule
A letter was sent home with an acolytes schedule and information. Please put the date on your calendar and plan to stay for the beginning of the 11:00 service. Thank you for serving to bring light into the Sanctuary.

Communion Element Families Needed
Families of the scheduled acolyte are invited to serve as the Element Family on your child
s scheduled date. If you are unable to serve on that date, please email Alexis or call her at 816-333-4917.

Chi Rho (6th-8th) and CYF (9th-12th) gather for refreshments and announcements in the Youth Center (Rm. 205).  After opening, CYF moves to Room 202 for a lesson.

  

Fellowship Singers

Fellowship Singers  rehearse from 9:45- 10:15 a.m. Sunday mornings. All youth (6th-12th grade) are invited and encouraged to participate.
